Last night, the children, parents & staff had a lovely end of year mass in St. John the Baptist church, Castleiney on the eve of John the Baptist’s birthday, to celebrate the end of a successful year for all. Afterwards, we said goodbye to our current sixth class & raised our 4th green flag.
Fifth class were masters of ceremony and did a fantastic job and the evening culminated with tea, treats and a video of photo memories of our 6th class down through the years. It truly was a memorable night.
Thank you to all who helped out especially Fr. Tomás O Connell, and our very hardworking staff who as always went above and beyond. Also to all who helped out with catering.
I wish John, Kayla, Ella, Stacey & Ciara every good wish as they move on to secondary school. Well done.
