Yesterday, Diarmuid Meagher visited the school and did a great presentation on the work him and his school mates in Thurles CBS are doing prior to their visit to Zambia in Africa as part of the Zambian immersion project. Their aim is to provide food, water and education to the people of Zambia. He thanked the children and their parents for their kind contribution towards their project from the raffle at our recent school show. Best of luck Diarmuid.
