Dear Principal,
As you will have heard, Cistercian College Roscrea has arrived at a critical point in its 112 year history, having recently announced an intention to close its doors. Following a significant response from all stakeholders (including pupils, parents, staff, past pupils and the wider community), the CCR Action Group was established to quickly look at a revised model for the school that might offer an alternative, viable future.
As part of this work, we are looking to deliver an extensive market research project, asking parents with potential students in the school’s key catchment area, to provide expressions of enrolment interest in a revised offering that would feature;
Day Boarding (9am-8pm approx. – *guide fees €6-7,000)
5 or 6 Day Boarding (*guide fees €14,000-€15,000)
Full 7 Boarding (*guide fees €15,000-€16,000)
We are asking School Principals to please help this cause by circulating this information to 1st-6th class parents by email or as a note in schoolbags (we have 14,500 colour leaflets that we will be distributing to all schools in Laois, Offaly, Kilkenny & Tipperary in the next 48 hours), as soon as possible, with the target date for completion of the survey being midnight Friday 10 March 2017.
Dear Parents,
To respond, please complete our survey at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8TFHPBL or email saveccr@outlook.com with your name, mobile number, son(s) age, current school and preferred school package.
For any additional queries on the school, please contact Head of Admissions Seamus Hennessy on 086-8666387 or the Admissions Secretary on 0505-23344, email admissions@ccr.ie or visit www.ccr.ie.
Your combined support for our urgent mission is very much appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
