Today we had a lovely visit from Thomas Adlum, who worked his magic on various pieces of wood. The wood was ash and came from killoskehane, near Barnane.
Thomas made an egg cup, 2 honey dippers and a gorgeous tea light candle holder. The children
were amazed at his talent and it was great for staff and children to see the transformation of the pieces from chunks of wood to fabulous wooden pieces.
Thomas’ workshop is in Templemore and he is from Loughmore. Thanks for your visit.
