Message from the Principal

Hello, my name is Jody Harkin and I am the Principal of Castleiney N.S.

Welcome to our school website, we hope you find it both informative and enjoyable, as we showcase what our wonderful school has to offer.

Our main aim is to provide a happy, caring and safe learning environment where each and every pupil is engaged and motivated to reach their full potential. We encourage active learning through our broad and balanced curriculum, led by our dedicated teaching staff.

We are an Active School, Green School and a Digital Learning School. We pride ourselves in the fact that the whole school community – staff, Board of Management, parents and pupils alike – are constantly driving forwards to ensure that Castleiney N.S offers its pupils the very best start to their education and prepares them for the future.
